Ordering Considerations and Guarantee

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and hope you and the recipients of the gifts you purchase will enjoy your butterflies every day you see them.

If you feel the pieces you receive from us do not match what we represent them to be on this website, please call us within seven days of receipt. If we can’t fix the problem, we’ll allow you to return the items undamaged for a full refund of the purchase price, including your original shipping and handling charges.*

Because our artwork originates in nature, there are a few things you should understand before you place an order:

1. Artwork pieces pictured are representative of the species or design only, and are generally not the actual pieces being shipped. For example, in our multiple-butterfly arrangements, we vary the butterflies used in these designs within the color family, and this is part of what makes every piece an original. If you want to see the exact piece being shipped, we can arrange to email a photo for a small additional fee. (Free photo on pieces over $500.)

2. We sell by type, not by size. Some kinds of butterflies have only a 1 to 2-inch wingspan, others are over 6 inches. The size of our insects are consistent with their type or species, and there can be variations in size from one specimen to another within a species.

3. Antennae are not guaranteed. Most people working with butterflies remove antennae automatically before framing. If we get them with the antennae intact we do our best to retain them, but many will be without antennae. They will almost always be removed in the larger multiple-butterfly pieces for consistency’s sake.

4. Nature isn’t always perfect. These are from nature, not manufactured. We obtain insects of the highest quality, but we cannot promise they will be perfect. Likewise, our frames are not custom-made gallery frames, nor do we charge custom-framed prices. Occasionally our frames may have very minor finish imperfections but are certainly suitable for hanging in the home or office.

We always welcome your questions, so call or email. We want you to fully understand the limitations of our art, but at the same time we want you to be thrilled with whatever you get from us.



*No returns without prior authorization. For refund consideration under the terms of this guarantee, we must hear from you within seven days of receipt, and undamaged items(s) must be received by us within seven days of return authorization. Return postage is not reimburseable.
