This extraordinary lime  green birdwing, Ornithoptera Priamus posiedon is a large butterfly from Papua New Guinea. The largest of the butterflies these strong, fast fliers have large bodies to handle the job.  Both sides of the butterfly is beautiful, but this yellow green and black combination is the most brilliant presentation.
